Mallory Kievman has achieved more than most of us will in our lives and she’s only 13.

Mallory is CEO and founder of a company that may remedy one of the most annoying issues faced by all humans, the hiccups. Kievman is preparing to launch her product, the Hiccupop, a hiccup-stopping lollipop of her own invention.

Following tests of 100 classic remedies for the hiccups, Kievman combined three – sugar, apple cider vinegar, and lollipops – with the belief that the combination ”triggers a set of nerves in your throat and mouth that are responsible for the hiccup reflex arc… It basically over-stimulates those nerves and cancels out the message to hiccup.”

With financial backers and a patent pending, here’s hoping Kievman achieves her goal, benefiting the world for generations to come.
