What can lovers of deep-fried food and clogged arteries expect from the 2012 State Fair of Texas? Deliciousness, of course.

The fried fare includes: Mac-n-cheese sliders, Deep Fried Jambalaya,  ”Picnic on a Stick”: “Spicy fried chicken alternate tater tots and slices of dill pickle, Repeated three times on a stick then dipped in batter, rolled in bread crumbs, and fried until golden brown.” Yes, obviously you can get that with a side of ranch dressing.

But the one item which most intrigues me is [insert drum roll]…

“Fried Bacon Cinnamon Roll – Deliciously fresh cinnamon roll dipped in a special sweet pancake batter, rolled in crispy fried bacon crumbles, deep fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It’s a main course and a dessert all in one.”

My left arm is getting numb just thinking about it.
