Alcoholic sandwiches are now a thing because regular sandwiches suck

A sandwich shop in Manhattan has began offering what they call “alcoholic sandwiches”.

Customers at Salume can now buy several different paninis that are infused with either scotch or gin.

And don’t you think these sandwiches have had the alcohol cooked off during assembly, no, the alcohol is added after they’ve been assembled and heated.

There’s no word on whether or not you have to be of legal drinking age to order the sandwich, but one would have to think that kids can’t go in and start sucking on the meat of a six-pack of paninis.
