When suddenly you find yourself at the beach, completely unprepared, like no one ever, the ThingThong has you covered—literally.
The hybrid flip-flop and thong swimsuit was conceptualized by Douglas Hamilton, a creative director and copywriter for BBH Asia-Pacific.
The flip-flop – as you may have deduced from the image above – doubles as the front of a banana hammock. The sandal’s straps are made of a stretchy elastic that keep your feet in and your junk covered.
Certainly the ThingThong would appeal to some people; the kind people I don’t ever want to interact with at a beach or any similar place where they could rock their ThingThong.
That said, if you like thongs and want to be the friend who gives a shoe-less beach goer a foot covering that’s grazed your filthy wiener and balls, the ThingThong may be for you.
