Man falls 1,200 feet off mountain, lives to painfully tell about it

A man fell more than 1,200 ft off the eastern portion of Luna Peak in Washington State and survived despite serious head injuries.
According to reports, the only details concerning the 49-year old climber – whose name was not released – is that he was climbing in the North Cascades National Park when he fell.
Two other climbers set off a help beacon to save the injured man, alerting Park Rangers who rescued the man.
