Pizza vending machines are coming to America, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rejoice

Americans love pizza, buying stuff we don’t need, convenience, and not having to interact with people outside our social circle. Now, a machine that combines all four of those things into one, horrible glorious, experience will soon be available anywhere you are.

That’s right, get ready to welcome the pizza vending machine to America.

Yes, this is a real thing. And yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.

The Let’s Pizza machine was designed and first implemented in Northern Italy (the undisputed home of horrible American-style vending machine pizza), and claims to be the world’s first pizza vending machine. It has existed in Italy and the U.K. for years now, and it’s set to appear at a mall, amusement park, bus station, or college campus near you.

Let’s Pizza uses an infrared oven to cook the pizza at lightning speed – this means that you have a fresh, made-to-order pizza in your hands in just 2.5 minutes. And, you don’t have to worry about stale, greasy pizza with the Let’s Pizza machine, because fresh dough is made and toppings are arranged on a per-order basis.

The pizzas will retail around $6, depending on the location.

Can’t wait.
