Hendricks Gin creator Steven Grasse has created Spodee, “wine with a kick.”

With a slick milk bottle container and a retro feel, Spodee is wine fortified with high proof moonshine making it 36 proof and 18% ABV.

Meant to be mixed into cocktails, like a spirit, Spodee draws inspiration from the Depression era- during the 1930s, people used to mix wine with whatever they had around the house- fruits, herbs, spices, and moonshine.
